About Me
Hi! I’m Mya Landry, a graphic designer who’s passionate about all things creative.
A Little About Me…
Originally from Maine, I moved to New Hampshire during high school, and now my family is split between Florida and Portland, ME. I’ve always been drawn to creativity, but it wasn’t until college that I truly found my path in design. I’ve also been lucky enough to travel a lot throughout my life, which has given me a deep appreciation for different cultures, perspectives, and design styles. Those experiences have definitely shaped the way I approach creativity today.
I started out as a marketing major, but I quickly realized I was spending way more time perfecting presentation slides than worrying about the actual content. After chatting with an advisor, I discovered graphic design, and everything just clicked. Since then, I’ve fallen in love with publication design, brand design, and web design.
To me, design should always serve a purpose, whether that’s capturing a brand’s personality or clearly communicating a message. I believe great design supports the message, not distracts from it. I’m especially drawn to modern, geometric styles and love using color with intention. Color theory is a huge part of how I design, every hue tells a story.
I’ve had the chance to work with a handful of small businesses and nonprofits throughout college, gaining real client experience early in my career. Each project has helped me grow as both a designer and storyteller.
