Exploring the world of fashion through the eyes of a camera

Project  Details

This fashion photography series was a passion project centered around thrifted fashion and editorial storytelling. Working with two models, Abigail and Alissa, I designed a multi-session photoshoot that explored how clothing interacts with environment, light, and mood. My goal was to prove that high-impact fashion photography doesn’t require designer labels; it’s about vision, styling, and intention.

Creative Vision

I’ve always been inspired by the relationship between fashion and the environment, how color, shape, and texture shift when placed against the backdrop of the real world. With this shoot, I wanted to push that relationship further by using thrifted pieces as the foundation. Each outfit was styled to be expressive and dynamic, showing that secondhand clothing can be just as bold, elevated, and editorial as anything new.

Process and Collaboration

The project took about a month of planning, including five separate sessions with Abigail and Alissa. I coordinated each shoot day based on lighting, weather, and location to match the tone of the outfits. From creative direction to styling and photography, I was fully hands-on, shaping the process from concept to final edits. Working closely with the models helped build a level of comfort and trust that shows in the final imagery.
